Using The Free Autoblog Software
Once you have joined the NZPCS Program and filled in your application form, upon acceptance to the program you will receive your links to some of the free software provided. One of these programs is the autoblog which gives you the ability to set up a blog within minutes and set it so if you wanted to you never need touch it again.
For the most part, by following the video instructions that come with the blog you find it incredibly easy to use, though the first time may seem a little daunting. My first suggestion would be to watch the video and on note pad etc take note of each step so you also have it in written format for when you’re ready to set up your own.
While there is a standard theme that comes with the blog as you can see by this one I made recently you can change themes while still using all the appropriate widgets and plugins etc.
If you plan on using the cron job for your rss feeds etc you may need to contact your hosting provider as the cron path they suggest might be a little different.
Again, by following the steps laid out in the video guide (both for the autoblog and wordpress help if you need it) you should have your first set up in no time at all - and with each new blog you’ll find it easier and quicker.
