These are good tips!  It&#039;s easy for people who work regularly online to forget that many people are still using dial up and dated email clients.

It&#039;s also a fact that Text only emails attract less attention from the spam filters than HTML emails do.  Or at least it was the case a year or so ago and I haven&#039;t heard that this has changed.  Generally text only emails get better delivery rates.

There&#039;s a reason the &#039;big name marketers&#039; follow the format guidelines that you set out above!
