Article Submission Creates Traffic To Your Site

by Jannie Strickland

When you’re looking for a quick and easy way to drive traffic to your site, article submission will get the job done. There are, of course, as with any marketing tactic, some guidelines you’ll need to go by. By writing articles pertinent to your products or services, you can get organic visitors to your page.

The first and most important component to article submission is quality. Whether you are writing the articles or you’re using a freelance writer, you need to make sure your articles are presentable. When you’re going to submit articles, always make sure that your articles contain good grammar. Perfect spelling and punctuation are very important, as well. If you’ve got someone writing for you, make sure the article submitter knows what you’re looking for.

When you submit articles that are of poor quality, you’ll drive traffic away, not towards your page. There are a few simple steps that you can take to ensuring that you get the most from your article submission efforts. It’s all about quality. Don’t attempt to submit articles that you’re not proud of. Try putting yourself in the place of those who are seeking information.

If you, yourself, would not read the article, it’s time to trash can it and start over. Article submission can breathe life into your site but it can also drive a nail in the coffin if you’re not careful.

Your articles should be on point. Don’t use a lot of extra words to say things that don’t need to be said or inflate your word count. If you can’t think of anything else to say, it’s probably already been said enough. Use relevant terms when you write and submit articles. You’ll want to check around and see what your competition is up to, especially those who are making a lot of sales. Check your keyword relevance and density.

There really is such a thing as too much. If you over use key words, it will abundantly apparent that you’re trying to push your product, not inform people. It’s best to use 1-3% keyword density in your article submissions. Anything more and your article will scream product endorsement. Anything less and readers may forget what they are reading about.

Use good keywords that you know people will use when submitting searches. If you keep your keyword density to 1-3%, you’ll give them just what they need without going overboard. Too many words being overused can push people away instead of drawing them in. Make them want to know more about what you’ve got to offer.

Using a resource box is a great way to get back links to your website. When you motivate people to learn more about your products, you can guarantee that you will increase sales. Get the most out of your submissions and focus on your key demographic. Check your content for duplicate information before you submit it.

When using article submission, always give readers just enough information to keep them viewing your article but never too much. Use good grammar and spelling and make sure there aren’t any errors in information. Use back links to pull viewers to your website and increase your sales with smart, informing articles.
